A SEVEN-PART COURSE FOR THE AFTER WIFE IN A GREY DIVORCE
You're not broken.
You're standing in the wreckage of a life you never imagined losing.
The Wreckage is the first hard stretch in a grey divorce, after the life you knew, before you have any idea what the new one looks like. This is a course for that part.
Seven modules · Read it or listen to it · Lifetime access · Founding price $297 USD
Can I guess what this week has looked like
This is the After. And it
can be brutal.
Nobody sees this list but you.
If you recognized even one of those
you're not falling apart.
You're in shock. And there is a difference.
The part nobody warned you about
You thought heartbreak would hurt emotionally.
Nobody warned you that your entire body might join the conversation.
Your chest feels tight.
Your stomach is constantly turning.
Your hands shake.
Your jaw hurts from clenching it.
You stare into the fridge as though it might
contain a full life plan behind the mustard.
And somewhere in all of that, you start wondering whether you are weak. Dramatic. Too sensitive.
You are not.
Grief lives in the body. So does fear. So does panic. Your body is not betraying you, it is reacting to something enormous, and it is trying to protect you with what it knows right now.
You will not be told to breathe through it and be grateful. You will be told what is actually happening to you, so you can stop building a case against yourself out of every single feeling.
A note from After Wife Coach™
"Because the truth is, I'm not completely healed either. I'm just a little further along."
I didn't plan on rebuilding my life. I was just trying to survive
each day.
I know what it feels like to lose your world and not recognize yourself in the pieces. I know the loneliness, fear, the shame, and the ache of wondering if you'll ever feel like you again.
I still have days that knock me sideways. Days when I feel like I've come so far, and days when something tiny brings me right back to a place I thought I'd already left. That is how this can go.
I made The Wreckage because I needed what didn't exist.
Now, it exists for you.

THE WRECKAGE: THE 7-MODULE PATH
Seven modules.
One way through
the wreckage.
The Wreckage is a structured journey through the aftermath—one that meets you where you are and guides you forward, step by step.
Each module builds on the last so you can move from survival to clarity, and from rebuilding to becoming.
You're not crazy. You're in shock.
Your body is trying to protect you.
You'll feel okay, then fall apart again.
That's normal.
Don't rush the big decisions. Not yet.
The goal this week is not to feel better.
The 3 a.m. voice is not the truth.
You will not always feel like this.
And…
One small thing you can actually do tonight — inside the guide.
How each module works
The same shape every time, so you always know where you are.
Why this one is different
There's a section in every module called The Unhinged Truth.
Because some of what happens in the After is genuinely absurd, and nobody really says so.
You are allowed to laugh at the paperwork while grieving the marriage.
You are allowed to think, are you kidding me?
and still be devastated.
Both can be true.
Humor doesn't mean you're taking this less seriously.
Sometimes it's the thing that lowers the tension just enough
for you to breathe again.
What you won't find here
The Wreckage will never
ask you to:
You are safe to be exactly where you are.
What changes
I am not going to tell you that you will be healed.
Most likely you will not be. There is no finish line where somebody hands you a healing certificate.
But something can shift. Even if it is so small you are afraid to
count it.
You know what a wave is now.You have something to reach for when your body sounds the alarm. You know you do not have to make every decision from the most overwhelmed version of yourself. You know how to keep one small promise. And when the old voice shows up, you can hear her without believing every word.
That is not nothing.
That is the ground coming back under you.
There are more of us than you think
You're an after wife.
after wife
/ˈaf-tər wīf/ noun
A woman living in the chapter after a long marriage ends — before the rest of her life has figured out what to call itself.
Grey divorce names what happened.
After Wife names you.
Being an after wife is not something you signed up for. It is simply the part you are in now, after the life you knew changed.
I needed a word for what I was that wasn't "divorced" and wasn't "single again" and wasn't any of the things people say with their head tilted.
There are a lot of us out here in the After. More than you'd think.
You are not the ending. You are in the After.

You don't have to explain yourself.
It's 3:12 a.m.
And everything feels too loud and too quiet.
When the silence hits, you don't have to face it alone.
Come here to the After. Take a breath. You're safe in this space.
You are not too much.
You are not too late.
Questions, answered
In case you're wondering.
I'm barely functioning right now. Is this too much for me?
No. It's written for exactly that. It's self-paced, there's no schedule, nothing is graded and nothing is submitted. One module a week, one a month, one five times — there's no behind here. And if reading anything at all is too much this week, the free guide is shorter and it's free.
What is a grey divorce, and is this only for that?
A grey divorce is the end of a marriage later in life, often after twenty, thirty or forty years. That's who this is written for, because losing decades of a shared identity is a specific kind of loss. If your marriage ended differently but this sounds like where you are, you're welcome here too.
Is this therapy?
No. The Wreckage is coaching — personal, educational and supportive. It isn't therapy, medical care, or a substitute for advice from a qualified professional, and it can't diagnose or treat anything. It's designed to sit alongside proper support, not replace it. There's a section inside on how to tell when you need more than a course can give.
How long do I have access?
Lifetime. No expiry date. All seven modules open immediately and you can come back to any of them as many times as you need.
Is there a community or live calls?
No — and that's deliberate. This is a written course you read privately. Nothing you write is submitted or shared, there's nothing to attend, and no one is waiting on you. When you're in shock, one more thing to show up for is the last thing you need.
Can I listen instead of read?
Soon, yes. I am recording all seven modules as an audio edition, for the days when reading is too much or you would rather listen in the car. It is not ready yet. Founding members get it free the moment it is, at no extra cost and with nothing to do — it will simply appear in your course. The written version is complete and available immediately, so you are never waiting on the audio to start.
What is the founding price?
The Wreckage is new, and $297 USD is the founding price for the women who come in at the start. It will go to $497 USD. If you join now that is your price — lifetime access does not get repriced later. In return I would love to know how it landed for you, though you are never obliged to tell me.
What if it's not right for me?
Email me within 30 days at hello@afterwifecoach.com and I'll refund you. You don't have to explain yourself or justify it. I'd rather give your money back than have you sitting with something that isn't helping.
Will anyone see what I write?
No. The reflection questions are yours. Nothing is submitted, nothing is reviewed, and no one reads them. Write them in the margins, in a notebook, or not at all.
If tonight is worse than that
If you're in crisis or thinking about harming yourself, please reach out to someone now. In Canada, call or text 9-8-8 — the Suicide Crisis Helpline — any hour, any day. This course is not a substitute for that call.
